Work accident involving lift causes serious injuries

Mishaps can occur on the job in any industry in North Carolina. However, in manufacturing or construction, a mishap can easily cost a person his or her life or at least one’s ability to work for a certain period of time. One worker suffered injuries recently following an out-of-state work accident in the construction field.

The accident happened on a recent Thursday morning at a church. The lift the worker was using accidentally tipped over. The man might have suffered injuries to his back suffered broken arms, according to police.

A daycare is located in the facility where the accident took place. Fortunately, there were no children in the area of the lift, so none of them were injured. The daycare was closed down for the remainder of the day of the accident. The man is recovering from his injuries, although it’s still unknown how the lift accident happened. A construction company that was placing a new roof on the facility.
