Construction accident claims life of 50-year-old man

There could be various types of heavy-duty machinery that remain a constant fixture on the site of new projects. A 50-year-old man was reportedly killed during a recent construction accident in another state after he was trapped between a truck and a forklift. 

Fatal workplace accident

Reports indicate that the incident took place on a recent Friday evening while workers were operating on a project outside of a local high school. While many of the details as to exactly what took place remain unclear, authorities say they received reports that a man had become trapped between a forklift and a work truck. Emergency responders say they initiated an operation to rescue the man upon arriving at the scene, but state that he was pronounced dead at the scene soon thereafter. 

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has reportedly initiated an investigation into the incident. However, no further information was provided as to what might have caused the man to become trapped between the two vehicles.
