Several kids injured after vehicle crashes into playground

Law enforcement agents responded to reports ofthe incidentat around 4 p.m. on a recent Tuesday. According to reports, the accident occurred when a driver was attempting to park her vehicle near a playground at a local school. Authorities advised that while entering the parking space, she pressed the gas instead of the brake and proceeded to cross onto the playground.

Reports indicate that there were as many as 20 kids on the playground at the time of the incident. Three of the kids were transported to a nearby medical facility with injuries, one of whom reportedly remains hospitalized. The accident remains under investigation and authorities have advised thatcharges have been filed againstthe driver who caused the incident.
