When approaching a sharp curve on a two-lane road, taking care to reduce speed may be essential to maintaining proper lane control. Should a driver fail to take such measures and veer even slightly into the opposite lane, oncoming drivers might not be able to respond to the situation in time to avoid a dangerous collision. Three individuals were killed and three others were injured during a recent car accident involving similar circumstances in North Carolina.
