Reports indicate that there were seven people riding down a street in a golf cart when the driver of an oncoming vehicle suddenly lost control and veered across the median. The vehicle proceeded to cross into the opposite lane and crash into the golf cart.

Five others who were riding in the cart were all rushed to a medical facility for treatment, one of whom passed away nearly a week later due to injuries suffered in the crash. The driver who caused the crash was arrested and is currently facing numerous charges in relation to the incident, including impaired driving and felony death by vehicle.
